The new cover for Swordpony is now in the sketching phase, and will in the near future be completely vectored by an awesome artist I've managed to line up. Fingers crossed, everybody!

In other news, I am the sometimes-illustrator for an up-and-coming gaming/writing new & review blog site called The Weaving Knight. They've interviewed the one and only Jim Sterling of The Escapist before, and they do a podcast series called Games as Lit(erature). I've done a podcast with them before on the subject of the first Gears of War book, "Aspho Fields," but this one is much shorter and denser. We talk about the portrayal of America in gaming, various games like The Last of Us, Bioshock, Fallout, and Assassin's Creed 3, and also discuss racism to an extent. It's pretty heavy stuff, but it was fun and focused.

I'm also writing an in-depth and critical review for The Last of Us to go up on the Weaving Knight soon. Keep an eye out for that.

In the meantime I'm fixing fence under the hot Texas sun. And yesterday I befriended a wild bird and got it to ride around on my arm and shoulder. So that was fun.
